Certified Nurse Midwife in Newport News and Hampton, VA

Carly B. Tyler, MSN, CNM completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia.  She earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse-Midwifery at Shenandoah University, Winchester, Virginia.  Carly is board certified as a Certified Nurse Midwife through the American Midwifery Certification Board.  Carly is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives.

Carly provides a full spectrum of midwifery care to women, newborns and families, including experience with high-risk obstetrical care.  She also provides comprehensive gynecologic care, including routine health screenings, management of normal and abnormal gynecologic processes, preventative counseling, contraception and post-menopausal care.

Carly is an active member of the Living Waters Church Care Ministry.  She volunteers her time with the Virginia Food Bank and with a variety of other organizations and events within the community.

She has been practicing in Virginia as a Registered Nurse from 2006 to 2014, and Certified Nurse Midwife since 2014. Carly joined TPMG Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2016 and welcomes new patients to reserve an appointment with her.
