Adrienne Jones, MSN, APRN, CNM is a board-certified nurse-midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. Furthering her education, she obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, Certified Nurse-Midwife from Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky. Adrienne joined TPMG Tidewater Midwifery Care in 2022.

Adrienne grew up knowing she wanted to be in healthcare. Her grandfather served as a med-tech in WWII and after the war, he continued in the medical field, eventually establishing the Cadet Clinic Laboratory at the Airforce Academy in El Paso County, Colorado. Throughout her childhood, dinners with her grandfather regularly revolved around medicine.

Adrienne strives to help families feel well cared for and supported as their family grows. She fosters trustworthy relationships with patients, getting to know them on a personal level and helping them have the best possible pregnancy and birth experience. Acting as a guide through their health journey, Adrienne educates her patients to ensure they can make the best decisions for themselves and their families.

With experience caring for women in both the birth center and hospital setting, her services span from routine primary care and gynecological services to family planning, preconception care, and care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. She specializes in providing an “out of hospital” birthing experience while in the hospital. She believes women deserve to be supported and empowered no matter how they decide to give birth, medicated or unmedicated.

Outside of the office, Adrienne enjoys spending time with her horse, Jet, working out, and going on family outings. New to the Hampton Roads community, she loves being close to the water and taking in the area’s beautiful scenery.
