Dr. Starr has always fostered a passion for science and medicine, which made her decision to pursue a career in the medical field a natural fit.  She chose family medicine because she enjoys addressing a wide range of conditions, continuous learning, and the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with her patients. Dr. Starr prioritizes understanding her patients’ health history and working collaboratively with patients to find solutions that align with their health goals. She uses evidence-based medicine to deliver quality care to her patients.

Placing a particular emphasis on disease prevention, Dr. Starr sees patients of all ages for a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, musculoskeletal injuries, anxiety, depression, asthma/COPD, and more. She also offers services such as pap smears, Nexplanon insertions and removals, cortisone joint injections (knee, shoulder, wrist, trigger finger), I&Ds, and skin biopsies.

When she isn’t in the office, Dr. Starr enjoys staying active, reading, watching and playing basketball, and spending time at the beach with her husband.  She also expresses her creative spirit through art, working mainly with ceramics and wheel-thrown pottery.
