The pain of giving up pitching inspired Dr. Frommer to pursue a career in which he could help others continue doing the things they love for as long as possible. As a provider, Dr. Frommer promotes lifestyle medicine, an approach that focuses on identifying deficits and making lifestyle changes that optimize quality of life. He practices metabolic optimization, prioritizing diet, exercise, sleep, and the appropriate management of medical issues that may hinder the body’s metabolism to help patients achieve their health goals. Dr. Frommer is a strong proponent of comprehensive medicine that encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. He aims to improve his patients’ lives by treating the whole person rather than the disease. Dr. Frommer is trained in osteopathic manipulative medicine, taking a hands-on approach to identify somatic dysfunction (pain, poor range of motion, suboptimal function) and treat patients in conjunction with traditional medical practices to optimize physical, mental, and spiritual health. Dr. Frommer sees patients for a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including hypertension, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, COPD, ADHD, musculoskeletal pain, and more. He also offers annual physicals, well-child exams, and other family medicine services.
