Type 2 Diabetes Clinical Study

Do you have Type 2 Diabetes?

The TPMG Clinical Research Division in Newport News is conducting a clinical trial to help the development of future type 2 diabetes treatment. Qualifying participants must meet the below criteria.

 Participation Criteria:

  • Patients are 18 years or older
  • No anti-diabetic/obesity treatment within 90 days
  • Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for more than 30 days
  • Have a BMI ≥ 23kg/m²

What do you need to do?

  • Inject the study medicine with an easy-to-use injection pen once a week.
  • Attend regular study-related health checks and medical tests, including having blood samples taken. 
  • Maintain a dosing diary and complete questionnaires using a study app. 
  • Keep in contact with the study staff during the study at regularly scheduled visits for a duration of or around 1 year.
