Linda G.P. Schneider, MD, is board-certified in Family Practice and Clinical Lipidology; she was also board-certified in Emergency Medicine until an injury kept her from continuing in that specialty. She has been interested in research since her residency. At that time, she completed a chart review study on the causes of abnormal vaginal bleeding, which was subsequently published in The Journal of Family Medicine. Her practice focuses on helping her patients maintain optimal wellness and avoid the consequences of chronic diseases. Her research interest comes from an abiding curiosity in answering questions on how to extend the boundaries of our knowledge and further enhance the lives and wellness of our patients. She is particularly interested in the components of metabolic syndrome and lipid management, but as the head of a department, is she able to support research into almost any aspect of outpatient medicine?
