Linda G.P. Schneider, MD | Clinical Research Director – Newport News

Linda G.P. Schneider, MD is board-certified in Family Practice and Clinical Lipidology; she was also board-certified in Emergency Medicine until an injury kept her from continuing in that specialty. She has been interested in research since her residency at which time she completed a chart review study on the causes of abnormal vaginal bleeding which was subsequently published in The Journal of Family Medicine. Her practice focuses on helping her patients maintain optimal wellness and avoid the consequences of chronic diseases. Her research interest comes from an abiding curiosity in answering questions on how to extend the boundaries of our knowledge and further enhance the lives and wellness of our patients. She is particularly interested in the components of metabolic syndrome and lipid management but is head of a department able to support research into almost any aspect of outpatient medicine.

Richard A. Parisi| Principal Investigator – Respiratory Trials – Williamsburg

Richard A. Parisi, MD is a fellowship-trained, board-certified physician with over 30 years of experience in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, and Sleep Medicine. As a sleep medicine specialist, Dr. Parisi provides treatment and care for a variety of sleep disorders and pulmonary conditions. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP). As Founder and Past President of the Virginia Academy of Sleep Medicine, Dr. Parisi has conducted National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research into the control of breathing during sleep and has worked extensively with leaders in sleep medicine to develop clinical practices and promote research. Dr. Parisi has spent much of his career as a Clinical Professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond.

Frances J. Jones, MD, FACG | Principal Investigator – Gastrointestinal Trials – Newport News

Frances J. Jones, MD, FACG earned her undergraduate degree in Pre-Medical Studies from Hawaii Pacific University, graduating magna cum laude. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She completed her residency training through Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia. She received further training from the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium, completing a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Jones is board-certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dawn Bloch, BS, CCRC | Clinical Research Manager-Williamsburg

Dawn Bloch, BS, CCRC has been a Clinical Research Coordinator since 1998 and obtained her certification in 2011.  She has been involved in over 100 trials in various indications: Cardiovascular Diseases, Digestive Diseases, Endocrine Diseases, Infectious Diseases, Musculoskeletal Diseases, Nutritional and Metabolic Diseases, Pulmonary Diseases, Skin and Connective Tissue Diseases, Vaccines, Women’s Health, and Mental Disorders.  Dawn has worked with over 30 sponsors throughout her research career.  Her love of research began while working for an Infectious Disease physician. She continues to be inspired every day to use all the new drugs available to help change people’s lives.

Gabrielle Land, BA | Clinical Research Coordinator-Williamsburg

Gabrielle Land, BA is a clinical research coordinator with the TPMG clinical research team, training closely under Dawn Bloch. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia in 2020. As a former medical assistant and medical equipment technician, she continues to build upon her research career, striving to provide people with a better quality of life through multiple studies.
