Habibi, MD, received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond in 2010. He then went on to complete an internship in General Surgery and residency training in Urology through Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Dr. Habibi is a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Urology. Dr. Habibi practices with the philosophy of offering his patients both reassurance that he understands their situation and confidence to address it. With an individualized approach to care, patient management can be more catered to their own goals, beliefs, attitude, and lifestyle. As a general Urologist, Dr. Habibi treats all adult patients, both male and female. His practice offers both medical and surgical solutions, including endoscopic and minimally-invasive surgery. He is skilled at treating a variety of conditions, including enlarged prostate, overactive bladder, kidney stones, urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, and all urologic cancers. Dr. Habibi uses several minimally invasive therapies for the management of kidney stones and an enlarged prostate. Dr. Habibi has a special interest in treating patients with kidney stones and finds the definitiveness of removing a stone and seeing the relief in patients gratifying. Dr. Habibi has privileges at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center and Riverside Doctors’ Surgery Center in Williamsburg. Dr. Habibi has been named a Coastal Virginia “Top Doc” and a Virginia Living Magazine “Top Doctor” for several consecutive years. He has been an affiliated faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University and a preceptor for the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech. He has also been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Outside of the office, Dr. Habibi enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and traveling.
