Neurology Office in Williamsburg, VA
TPMG Neurology at Williamsburg is committed to providing you and your family with high quality neurological care. Dr. Patricia Mayes, Dr. Maria Guina, Kathy Green, MSN, FNP-BC, and the professional staff at TPMG Neurology in Williamsburg strive to provide the best care possible while treating each patient with dignity, respect and compassion.
Dr. Mayes and Dr. Guina work closely with referring physicians to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system, including, but not limited to, diseases of the brain, nerves, muscles and spinal cord. We also offer personalized care to each patient, as we understand the anxiety that our patients and families experience when faced with unknown medical symptoms and issues.
We accept appointments by referring physicians only. Every effort is made to ensure that our patients are seen in a timely manner as appointments are available. Life threatening emergencies should be referred to and handled by the appropriate closest Emergency Room accessible to the patient. Non-neurological problems should be addressed by the patient’s primary care physician.
Clinical Neuropsychology is a specialty profession that focuses on brain-behavior relationships. A TPMG clinical neuropsychologist is a licensed psychologist with expertise in how behavior and skills are related to brain structures and systems. We evaluate brain function by objectively testing memory and thinking skills. Our Neuropsychologists complete a detailed assessment of brain function and that information is used in important health care areas, such as diagnosis and treatment planning. Based on the findings of our evaluation, we indicate recommendations for interventions by your providers
