Cheryl A. Wray, MA, CCC-A, F-AAA attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where she earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She is licensed by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, American Academy of Audiology, Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, and Commonwealth of Virginia Hearing Aid Dealers Board.

With over 20 years of experience practicing audiology, Cheryl is experienced in treating hearing loss and tinnitus for adults of all ages. She is committed to improving the lives of her patients and strives to ensure they see an improvement in their day-to-day communications. She finds great satisfaction in her work and the ability to help people live better, easier lives. Cheryl believes that good health care is a collaborative effort, requiring input from Cheryl, her patients, and their physicians.

Cheryl has extensive knowledge and experience in providing audiological care to patients on the Peninsula and the Southside region. She specializes in hearing aids for anyone with communication difficulties, not just those whose hearing is significantly impaired. In addition to her clinical work, Cheryl also values education. She has participated in mentoring several audiology students from the University of Iowa and other programs.

When she isn’t working, Cheryl enjoys learning languages, horseback riding, and spending time with family. She loves working in Hampton Roads because of all of the friendly people in the area. Cheryl is the owner of Courtland Hearing Aids and Balance in Courtland, Virginia, and expanded her service offerings when she joined TPMG Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists in 2017, with offices located in the Harbour View area of Suffolk, and Newport News next to Mary Immaculate Hospital.
