Veronica L. Arndt, FNP-C

Accepting New Patients

Veronica L. Arndt, FNP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with TPMG Lung and Sleep Specialists Newport News. A Georgia native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. Furthering her education, Veronica received her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Family Nurse Practitioner studies from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

With more than 27 years of experience in the medical field, Veronica brings a deep passion for helping others to her medical practice. She started her career as a respiratory therapist, working in pediatric and adult intensive care settings, where she discovered an affinity for pulmonary medicine. Afterwards, she worked for over two decades as a registered nurse, caring for a diverse patient population in intensive care and step-down environments. Her experience caring for patients and helping families learn how to manage their illnesses inspired her to become a nurse practitioner.

As a provider, Veronica offers comprehensive medical education to help patients and their families understand their disease process to ensure effective management of their conditions. Veronica sees patients for a variety of conditions relating to pulmonary sleep medicine, including asthma, cough, smoking-related lung disease (COPD), sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and more. Her goal is to ensure patients feel in control of their condition and their overall health. She has a particular medical interest in homeopathic herbal medicine.

Veronica moved to the Hampton Roads area after the COVID-19 pandemic to be close to her grandchildren. When she isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys crafting and hiking.

Veronica warmly welcomes patients to schedule an appointment with her at TPMG Lung and Sleep Specialists Newport News.
