Jessica Kipper, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at TPMG Lung and Sleep Specialists Newport News. She earned her Registered Nursing Diploma from Riverside School of Health Careers, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University. Jessica went on to complete a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus at Walden University. She is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and joined TPMG Lung and Sleep Specialists in 2026.  

No stranger to the medical field, Jessica has over a decade of experience working as a registered nurse in various settings, including cardiac care, medical-surgical nursing, intensive care, outpatient surgery, and women’s health. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she builds on her experience to grow professionally and improve her technique. Drawn to nursing by the complexity of patient care, Jessica combines her clinical knowledge with a thorough examination of patients’ symptoms and medical histories to understand the full picture.   

Jessica is committed to compassion, critical thinking, and lifelong learning to provide the best possible care for her patients. She practices active listening, treating every patient and their families with respect, partnering with them as she develops a treatment plan. After her own personal family struggles with lung disease, Jessica understands how deeply lung conditions can affect daily life. Through her experience, Jessica approaches each patient with empathy and a commitment to truly listening and supporting their individual needs.   

Jessica sees adults for a variety of conditions, including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea. and more. She has a particular medical interest in preventive care, health promotion, and chronic disease management.  

When she isn’t in the office, Jessica can be found with her husband and three children. She enjoys boating, the outdoors, and cheering on her children at their sports activities. As a native of Hampton Roads, Jessica appreciates the area’s coastal lifestyle and proximity to the mountains and beach.  

Jessica is excited to work alongside Dr. Agnieszka E. Petersen at TPMG Lung and Sleep Specialists Newport News.
