Roxanne Beckman, DNP, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with TPMG Interventional Pain Treatment Center in Newport News. Roxanne earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Central Ohio Technical College in Newark, Ohio, before receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and then her Doctor of Nursing Practice with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Walden University. A member of multiple professional organizations, Roxanne belongs to the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma National Nursing Honor Society and joined TPMG Interventional Pain Treatment Center in 2026. With more than two decades of experience as a healthcare professional, Roxanne is well-accustomed to anticipating her patients’ needs. From a young age, Roxanne knew she wanted a healthcare career. Her passion for giving back to her community, combined with the example of her aunt, a registered nurse, guided her towards her Family Nurse Practitioner focus. Driven by a desire to make a difference in her patients’ lives, Roxanne works to ensure they feel heard and comfortable. She believes that patients who have a say in the management of their care have better health outcomes. Working alongside her patients, she takes a holistic approach that considers the entire patient rather than a specific set of symptoms. Roxanne offers musculoskeletal pain management for adults 18 and older. She provides OmniWave Shockwave Therapy (a treatment that delivers acoustic shockwaves throughout the muscles to address musculoskeletal injuries and pain) as well as IV therapy. With more than 10 years of experience as a registered nurse, Roxanne is also qualified to provide aftercare for patients recovering from orthopedic surgery. When she isn’t in the office, Roxanne enjoys watching movies and spending time with family and friends. She warmly welcomes patients to schedule an appointment at TPMG Interventional Pain Treatment Center. His office uses the Virginia Prescription Drug Monitoring Program in order to monitor and reduce the risk of prescription drug misuse. Patients showing misuse of medication(s) or attempts of refills by numerous physicians will be discharged from the practice.
