VandeSand, MD, received his undergraduate degree in Biology from The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, and earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia, in 2003. He completed an internship at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and a diagnostic radiology residency and MRI fellowship at Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia in 2009.
