She earned her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Georgia and completed her residency training through Eastern Virginia Medical School at Portsmouth Family Medicine, where she was honored as Intern of the Year in 2016 and served as Administrative Chief. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Miller offers a variety of services including sports physicals, general medical examinations, birth control management, joint injections, and minor skin procedures in-office. Her special medical interests include women’s health, adolescent health, diabetes management, hypertension, and contraception management. Dr. Miller believes good health is dependent upon both treatment and the connection of the mind and body. As a family medicine physician, she is passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle and is devoted to building trusted relationships with her patients to help them achieve optimal health and their own personal wellness goals. A member of the Gold Humanism Society, Dr. Miller is recognized as a leader in the medical community, as nominated by her peers, for exhibiting the qualities of excellent interpersonal skills and empathy to provide compassionate healthcare. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the Virginia Academy of Family Practice, and the Virginia Osteopathic Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Miller volunteers her time with local organizations and is actively involved with her church. A former ballroom dance competitor, Dr. Miller continues to social dance for fun and enjoys participating in fitness classes to stay active.
