Ricardo Moscoso, MD, FACS, received his undergraduate degree from Yale University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Biology. Â He earned his Doctorate of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1991 and completed his residency in General Surgery at Tufts University New England Medical Center. Dr. Moscoso is a licensed Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), and a member of the Virginia Beach Medical Society and Deterling Society. He served as Chief of Medical Staff and Chief of Surgery at Sentara Bayside and is the recipient of the Eastern Virginia Medical School Outstanding Teaching Award 2013 when he served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery. Dr. Moscoso has also been honored as a Coastal Virginia Magazine Top Doc since 2015. Dr. Moscoso opened Princess Anne Surgery in 2008 and joined TPMG in 2015 to provide patients on the Southside and surrounding areas with specialized, general surgery treatment. His professional interests are laparoscopic and gastrointestinal surgery.
