Dr. Han is dedicated to providing an individualized approach to each patient tailored to their values, preferences, and unique circumstances. Dr. Han earned her Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Echols Interdisciplinary Studies as well as her medical degree from the University of Virginia. She completed her family practice residency training through the University of Virginia Health System University Hospital. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Han enjoys providing care and treatment for patients with hypertension, elevated cholesterol, allergies, and diabetes. Dr. Han has special interests in preventative care, including women’s health and evidence-based medicine, which is an approach to treating patients using the latest medical evidence. In addition to her clinical duties, Dr. Han has served as a community preceptor at the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Health, also known as the Medical College of Virginia (MCV), where she mentored medical students. Having lived in the Hampton Roads community for over a decade, Dr. Han enjoys the laid-back atmosphere, and the numerous cultural activities and events this area has to offer as well as the proximity to the beach. Dr. Han resides in Virginia Beach with her husband and two children. Outside of the office, Dr. Han enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and watching movies. She is also an active participant in her church community and her children’s school activities.
