Jordan Lee, PT, DPT, earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Radford University in Roanoke, Virginia. As a certified physical therapist, Jordan treats patients for orthopedic/sports medicine conditions. He performs treatment interventions such as dry needling, manual therapy, and spinal manipulation. He also demonstrates therapeutic exercises that optimize movement and improve the quality of life of his patients.
As a long-time athlete who has undergone physical therapy treatment, Jordan has compassion for his patients and a great understanding of their needs. He values open communication, which aids in providing the best experience possible.
“I am extremely excited to join the TPMG team and promote a healthier, more active community,” said Jordan Lee.
As the physical therapy team expands, TPMG Physical Therapy – Newport News hopes to decrease wait times and improve the speed and quality of care.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the practice has taken extra precautions to keep patients safe. Telehealth appointments are available as well as electronic home exercise programs prescribed by therapists. These programs are open to all patients, whether they attend therapy in person or virtually. In-office, patients are spaced appropriately to comply with social distancing practices set forth by the CDC. Staff members and patients are required to wear masks and have their temperature taken prior to beginning therapy. Additionally, cleaning protocols have been enhanced with increased sanitations.
According to TPMG Physical Therapy, Newport News Clinical Director Derryn Bray, the number of individuals playing golf during the COVID-19 pandemic has risen significantly. To Bray, this was an opportune time to bring Jordan on board.
“Jordan attended the Titleist Performance Institute and gained valuable knowledge in the rehabilitation of golf-related injuries…It is only fitting that the department has an individual who specializes in this field of rehabilitation,” said Derryn Bray.
Jordan is currently accepting new patients.
