Chesapeake, Virginia – Tidewater Physicians Multispecialty Group (TPMG), a network of over 220 physicians and advanced clinicians in over 85 offices across the Tidewater area, is pleased to announce the expansion of services in the Southside area. In order to meet the increased demand for healthcare providers on the Southside, we’ve welcomed several new providers to our Chesapeake and Virginia Beach offices.
“The addition of these providers is one of many ways TPMG continues its effort to expand specialties and providers to the Southside community. It is imperative that our local communities have greater access to affordable, physician-guided care,” said TPMG Southside Medical Director, Mark R. Winters, MD.
Heidi Houston, MSN FNP-BC, ANCC, CEN and Tiffany Yang, PA-C, both recently joined TPMG Edinburgh Family Medicine in Chesapeake. Heidi is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. Her philosophy of care centers on providing competent, empathetic, compassionate, and optimal health care. Tiffany is a Certified Physician Assistant who joined TPMG Edinburgh Family Medicine this August. Inspired to join the healthcare field after her grandfather’s battle with prostate cancer, Tiffany provides a holistic approach to patient care.. She sees patients of all ages for a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
Joining TPMG Indian River Family Practice this August is board certified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, Emma Robl, DO. As a family medicine physician, Dr. Robl is able to manage health care for entire families, ensuring each family member is given quality care. Her philosophy is to deliver quality care in order to improve a person’s overall health and well-being, using evidence-based medicine and osteopathy.
Zachary Rasor, DPM, FACFAS of TPMG Foot and Ankle is a board certified Foot and Ankle Specialist. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa. He then went on to complete his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he completed an ACFAS Reconstructive Surgical fellowship in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. Rasor treats a variety of lower extremity conditions including severe fractures, chronic deformities, including Charcot, arthritis and tendonitis, ulcers, and ingrown nails. He takes a special medical interest in the elective reconstruction of both congenital and acquired deformities, which often greatly improves his patients’ quality of life.
