Before beginning her residency training, Dr. Chen studied neuroscience at Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her internship and residency at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, serving as Chief Resident of Neurology in her final year. As a general neurologist, Dr. Chen provides diagnosis and treatment of stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, peripheral neuropathy, migraine, dementia, and other neurologic disorders in an office setting. Dr. Chen also provides various in-office services and testing such as Electroencephalogram (EEG) for conditions such as epilepsy or suspected seizure, Electromyography (EMG), and Botox injections for the treatment of migraines. Her special medical interests include general neurology, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, headaches, dementia, and neuromuscular disease.
