He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk. Furthering his education at Old Dominion University, Vinit received a dual Master of Science Degree in Community Health and Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner. Vinit is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Throughout his career, he received recognition for his hard work in the healthcare field. In 2019, he was a nominee for Riverside Regional Medical Center’s Champion of Care Award and then later nominated for the Daisy Award in 2020. Vinit joined TPMG Rheumatology in 2022. With over a decade of experience in the medical field as a nurse and community health advocate, Vinit strives to treat each patient with respect and dignity. He is a firm believer in encouraging patients to take an active role in their health by educating patients and their families about their health conditions.. His passion for caring and helping others prompted his interest in the healthcare field from an early age. Vinit believes that everyone should have access to quality healthcare. He places an emphasis on patient satisfaction, taking time to listen to his patients, discuss their healthcare goals, and develop a treatment plan that fits their unique needs. Vinit treats patients of all ages for a variety of rheumatic conditions, including osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, gout, joint pain, Sjogren’s syndrome, and scleroderma. He has a unique medical interest in rheumatology and autoimmune diseases. When he isn’t seeing patients, Vinit enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and friends. He also enjoys gardening and traveling. No stranger to the Hampton Roads community, he appreciates the area for its rich history, beautiful beaches, scenic mountains, and seasonal weather.
