Trina S. Williams, RN, MSN, AGACNP-BC, CMSRN, is a board certified nurse practitioner with specializations in Adult-Gerontology and Critical Care practicing at TPMG Gastroenterology in Newport News, VA alongside Bader El-Safadi, MD.

Trina began her career in healthcare in 2011 attending Paul D. Camp Community College in Franklin, Virginia, where she graduated with an Associate’s degree in Nursing.  Realizing her passion for providing comprehensive care, Trina continued her education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, with the goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. Through focus and determination, she achieved her goal in September 2017, successfully completing her Master of Science in Nursing through Walden University in Exeter, Maryland.

A lifelong student with a strong passion for teaching and research, Trina will be continuing her education in the fall of 2018 to pursue her Doctorate in Nursing through Walden University.

With a unique set of strong nursing skills, Trina strives to provide her patient with the best healthcare possible. She believes in building a long-lasting and trusting relationship through each patient encounter, and seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation by taking the time to listen and understand each patient’s individual needs. Her true desire is to enhance each patient’s visit by providing a confident and positive treatment experience.

Trina is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Association for Critical Care Nurses with a concentration in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care.

As an active member of the American Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses, American Association of Critical Care Nurse and the National Nurses Association, Trina continues to shape healthcare for both the patient and her colleagues in the nursing profession.

A native of Smithfield, Virginia, Trina enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the rural side of life.
