BIOGRAPHY

Family Medicine Physician Assistant in Chesapeake, VA

Tiffany Yang, PA-C is a certified physician assistant with TPMG Edinburgh Family Medicine. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry: Biochemistry from Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, and later a Master of Science in Physician Assistant from South University in Savannah, Georgia. Tiffany joined TPMG Edinburgh Family Medicine in 2022.

When Tiffany was seven years old, her grandfather passed away from prostate cancer. Watching healthcare providers care for her grandfather was the first exposure she had to the medical field. Tiffany’s grandfather became a role model and inspiration for her, his compassion motivating her to care for her patients in the same fashion. Though he passed away when she was very young, he imprinted the desire to be a part of the medical field. To Tiffany, being a good provider isn’t just about having medical knowledge, but also showing kindness and compassion to patients and caring for them holistically (mind, body, and spirit). She focuses on finding the right healthcare plan for her patients that aligns with their needs and goals, rather than simply the easiest.

Tiffany sees patients of all ages for a variety of acute and chronic conditions relating to primary care, including diabetes management, infection, well-child checks, and more. She has a particular medical interest in pediatrics, pediatric cardiology, and sports medicine. Tiffany belongs to the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and has research published in medical journals.

When she isn’t in the office, Tiffany enjoys playing basketball, reading, exploring with her husband and dog, going to the beach, and finding new restaurants and coffee shops to try. Growing up in California, Tiffany appreciates Hampton Roads’ proximity to the beach as well as the many activities and food choices in the area. Tiffany is very involved in her local church, where she works with Young Adults and the Children’s ministry. Although she has moved around the country, finding a community here in Hampton Roads has made living here feel like home.

Tiffany warmly welcomes those to come and see her at TPMG Edingburgh Family Medicine.
