He joined TPMG Orthopedics in 2012. Dr. Durbin earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College and his medical degree at The Ohio State University. He completed residency training at Mount Carmel Medical Center, where he developed a special interest in arthroscopy and sports medicine. This interest led him to pursue an additional year of training in sports medicine at The University of Kentucky in an intensive fellowship program focusing on innovative techniques in shoulder and knee arthroscopy. In his surgical practice, Dr. Durbin performs many advanced surgical and arthroscopic procedures including: Anatomic ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff tear repair, labral repairs, tendon surgery, meniscal repairs, cartilage restoration, carpal tunnel release, and trigger finger release. For general orthopedics and fracture care, Dr. Durbin takes a conservative approach to care and is adept at nonsurgical techniques and treatments. In the event surgery is the best course of treatment, he will perform the indicated surgery to best restore function and eliminate pain.
