After he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Keesler Medical Center in Biloxi, Mississippi, Dr. Marcuson served as an attending physician in the United States Air Force. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Marcuson draws on the wide base of medical knowledge and problem-solving skills to treat his patients. His special interests include cardiovascular disease prevention and counseling on topics related to weight management and exercise to improve his patient’s overall health and manage chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Marcuson believes the relationship between physician and patient is a partnership. By listening to a patient share their concerns, he can then act as a translator, guiding his patients through a diagnosis and treatment plan. Valuing the trust that is earned between physician and patient, Dr. Marcuson is dedicated to establishing long-term relationships with his patients built on mutual trust and understanding.
