Dr. Ron Post completed his undergraduate degree in biology from Georgetown University College and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine (1996). He completed residencies in General Surgery at Nassau County Medical Center/SUNY Stonybrook Medical School and North Shore University Hospital/New York University Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident in General Surgery. He obtained post-residency experience through the United States Air Force, Langley AFB Hospital, serving as Surgical Element Team Chief at the Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center (2003) and in Kuwait during Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom (2003).
