After completing residency in India, she moved to the US where she trained in Internal Medicine at New York Medical College, NY (internship) and Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA (residency). Since her board certification in Internal Medicine, Dr. Joshi worked as an internist for several years in Pennsylvania and Virginia. With her inclination towards metabolic disorders, Dr. Joshi became board certified in Endocrinology in 2021 and expanded her expertise by completing a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She is also board certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. As a supporter of education, Dr. Joshi served as a faculty member at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, where she taught various aspects of internal medicine to residents and medical students.
