After experiencing the long-term consequences of unmanaged health conditions, Marshall pursued advanced practice and transitioned into family medicine. He believes strong primary care relationships are key to reducing preventable hospital visits and improving long-term outcomes. His approach emphasizes listening carefully, explaining conditions clearly, and partnering with patients to build practical, sustainable care plans. He provides care for adolescents, adults, and older adults, treating common conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, thyroid disorders, anxiety, depression, and acute respiratory illnesses. Outside of the clinic, Marshall values time with his family, maintains a consistent fitness routine, and enjoys traveling to the Outer Banks.
