She earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a Biomedicine concentration from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Later, Madison went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Madison joined TPMG Hampton Roads Center for Dermatology in 2022. After earning her undergraduate degree, Madison lived in Washington, DC, working as a medical assistant at a dermatology and allergy practice. She gained experience caring for patients suffering from an array of dermatologic diseases including acne, atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, rosacea, urticaria, and skin cancer. These patients showed her the complexity of skin and how its presentation can be an internal signal from our body that something is wrong. It also showed her how its external manifestation can significantly affect one’s overall well-being. During this time Madison enjoyed seeing patients’ transformation after each visit. Not only patients’ external transformation but particularly, she was always in awe by their internal transformation, their newfound confidence, respect, and appreciation for themselves. Those patients sparked her interest and passion for dermatology. The connections she made while working in D.C. led her to pursue practicing general and cosmetic dermatology. Madison strives to spend quality time with her patients, assessing each individual and listening to their concerns. By doing so, she can deliver the utmost care addressing both their medical needs and desires. She aims to empower her patients to be confident in their medical decisions, their bodies, and their minds. Madison treats patients of all ages for a variety of dermatological conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, as well as many other hair and nail disorders. She has a particular medical interest in dermatological diseases, skin cancer prevention, and cosmetic dermatology. Although she was not born and raised in Virginia, Madison has a connection to the Hampton Roads community through her family. She enjoys exploring the area, meeting new people, and having the beach in her backyard. When she isn’t in the office, Madison likes running, yoga, outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, and eating ice cream. Madison warmly welcomes patients to see her at TPMG Hampton Roads Center for Dermatology.
