She studied at the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center, attaining her Doctorate of Medicine in 2001. She was awarded the Dr. Henry W. Withers Memorial Award in Family Practice in recognition of her potential for outstanding achievement in the field of Family Practice. Dr. Cash completed a residency in Family Medicine at the Chesterfield Family Medicine program in Richmond. She has maintained board certification in Family Medicine since 2004 through the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Cash’s practice interests include women’s health and problem wound healing, having provided care to patients at the Sentara Wound Healing Center from 2013-2020. In her time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, engaging in their many extracurricular activities. She is also an avid reader and enjoys crafting.
