John joined TPMG Coastal Endocrinology in 2023. Exposed to the medical field at an early age due to a type 1 diabetes diagnosis at age 12, John discovered a passion for helping others through health challenges. Through his work, John provides support and education to make daunting diagnoses more manageable. By forming connections with his patients, John can treat them with the care they deserve. John helps guide and educate patients as they learn to live with chronic conditions. As a provider who also has type 1 diabetes, John has a unique understanding and empathy for the challenges faced by his patients with chronic conditions. He is a proponent of adjusting care to the lives of his patients and believes that a series of small, healthy choices can add up to a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. John sees adults for a variety of chronic conditions, including type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, osteoporosis, obesity, hormone disorders, and more. He has a particular medical interest in diabetes care.
