Heavenly earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk. Continuing her education, she earned her Master of Arts in Community/Clinical Psychology from Norfolk State University. Heavenly serves as a teaching affiliate for the American Psychological Association and has served as an adjunct Psychology Instructor at ECPI University from 2008 to 2021. She is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor for Counseling and Substance Abuse Counseling residents in Virginia. Heavenly has practiced in the field of psychology and counseling for nearly 20 years. Heavenly has experience treating those aged 10 years through adults for a variety of health conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, workplace/industrial issues, addiction, military issues, eating disorders, and obesity, among others. She has a medical interest in health and nutrition, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, and trauma. Heavenly has a few special interests that help her to better treat psychological disorders. For example, she has an appreciation for the impact of complementary alternative medicine and its use in behavioral health. When she isn’t in the office, Heavenly enjoys yoga, Pilates, and is an aficionado of jazz music. She also loves cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
