860 Omni Boulevard Deneishia S. Fisher, MD, received her undergraduate degree from Norfolk State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Furthering her education, she earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. During her last year, she served as Executive Chief Resident of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Fisher values the importance of helping others, a trait instilled in her by her parents at a young age. With her combined love for science and the desire to help others, she found the field of medicine to be a natural fit. She is committed to establishing a connection with each patient through open communication, an important pillar to quality patient care. Dr. Fisher encourages her patients to ask questions and always takes the extra step to help them understand their health care plan. As an obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Fisher provides care to women through all stages of life and particularly enjoys the variety the field has to offer. She provides routine well-woman exams and obstetric care, as well as treats conditions that include abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), hormonal disorders, endometriosis, and infertility. Dr. Fisher also performs various procedures including hysteroscopy, laparoscopic hysterectomy, and permanent contraception. Her special medical interests include educating young women about their bodies, the importance of making thoughtful choices, and taking ownership of their health. She is grateful for those who have helped shape her into the woman and doctor she is today and hopes to inspire and lift others as she continues her career. Dr. Fisher is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and is certified by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM). She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and remains actively involved in the community as a Women’s Health Educator. She joined TPMG Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2016 after practicing at Brunswick Hills Obstetrics and Gynecology in East Brunswick, New Jersey since 2004. As a Virginia native, she enjoys being back home closer to her family. Outside of the office, Dr. Fisher keeps up with an active lifestyle through strength training, running, yoga, and traveling.
