She completed her residency at Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in 1991. Later that same year, she also became board-certified in family medicine. Dr. Bachtell was born and raised in Virginia and has been practicing in the Hampton Roads area since 1991. Her special interests include women’s health and preventive medicine.
