100 Constitution Drive Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Caroline Daley, FNP-C is a certified family nurse practitioner with TPMG Cardiovascular Specialists in Virginia Beach. Caroline began her career in the medical field as a registered nurse, earning her diploma from Sentara Health Professions in 2008. Caroline served as a registered nurse for 14 years, including a decade in both local and military emergency departments and two years in preoperative care. Furthering her education, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg. Following her undergraduate studies she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University. Caroline is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners (VCNP). She joined TPMG Cardiovascular Specialists in 2022. Before pursuing a career in medicine, Caroline earned her Bachelor of Arts in English at JMU. During her schooling, she completed a first aid course, which came in handy when her coworker injured her hand. Using her training, Caroline provided first aid for her injured coworker and discovered a calling for helping others. Later, during her medical training, she studied abroad in Costa Rica, focusing on community health. During her time there, she discovered the importance of preventative health care. Her experience, combined with a passion for lifelong learning and enthusiasm for helping others, inspired her to become a family nurse practitioner. Caroline strives to treat every patient like she would want to be treated herself, with compassion by competent healthcare providers, and as a unique person with inherent dignity and value. Her philosophy of care is to support her patients with empathy, skill, knowledge, and presence. She carries these values into the care she provides, actively listening to their concerns, anticipating their needs, and working with patients to make a plan of care to improve their health. She sees adults 18 years and older for a variety of acute and chronic conditions, including heart palpitations, high blood pressure, myocardial infarctions (heart attacks), cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and others, cardiomyopathy and heart failure, aortic aneurysms, cardiac valve disease, coronary artery disease and hyperlipidemia, cardiac amyloidosis, paroxysmal hypotension, and POTS syndrome. She is passionate about preventative care and encourages patients to reach their health goals by helping them understand their diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans. Although a Navy brat, Caroline grew up in Hampton Roads and considers herself a true southerner. She loves Virginia for its beaches, mountains, and rich history. While it may be a nuisance for some, Caroline loves the sound of jet noise overhead because it reminds her of the many military service workers in our community who make sacrifices for the country daily. When she isn’t in the office, she enjoys running, yoga, and gardening. She has completed two half-marathons and also loves camping with her three children and husband, a Navy veteran. Caroline welcomes patients to make an appointment to see her at TPMG Cardiovascular Specialists in Virginia Beach.
