Patients are cared for by appointment. If you require same-day medical attention, please call early in the day to schedule an appointment. Blood pressure checks, protime checks, and routine immunizations are available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. These services do not require an appointment. For patient convenience, TPMG Patrick Henry Family Medicine offers in-office blood and urine testing during appointments and at scheduled times. We may also refer you to an outside lab, if required by your insurance carrier. If hospitalization is required, our physicians will coordinate your care with a carefully selected and experienced hospital-based physician. Please request prescription refills during your appointment, or ask your pharmacist to fax us your refill request. Be sure to have your prescription bottle available when you call, so that you can provide the information necessary to complete your request. Please allow 48 hours for us to process your request after we receive it from your pharmacy. Please request referrals during your appointment, or you may call our office. Please allow 2-3 business days for us to process your request with your insurance carrier. If you have any questions or concerns about your bill, please call our office manager. If you have any concerns about your insurance, please contact your insurance carrier. If you have an urgent medical need after office hours or on the weekend that requires the attention of a physician, please call our office for recorded instructions. After office hours, TPMG Patrick Henry Family Medicine physicians share on-call services with TPMG Denbigh Family Medicine and TPMG Colonial Family Medicine. TPMG Patrick Henry Family Medicine is pleased to partner with Sentara Urgent Care to provide after-hours urgent care to our patients, as well. We realize not all medical emergencies occur within our office hours, and teaming up with Sentara Urgent Care to get you the care you need, when you need it, is our utmost priority. All of your visit notes and tests will be securely sent to our office immediately after your visit, so we may add them to your chart and your provider can make recommendations moving forward.
