Our physicians have been providing the best care to patients on the Peninsula for many years and expanded to the Williamsburg area to provide another convenient location for patients to receive excellent, professional care. Patients are seen by appointment only. Same-day appointments are available; however, please call the office early in the morning to schedule an appointment. Please request prescription refills during your regular scheduled appointment with your physician, or contact your pharmacist to have your refill request faxed, or electronically sent to us. Please allow 48 hours for us to process your refill request(s) after we receive it from your pharmacy. We encourage you to request referrals to specialists during your scheduled appointment; however, if you are unable to do so, please contact us before your appointment with the family medical physician that you will be seeing. Please keep in mind that this process may take up to 3 business days since we are authorizing your referral request through your insurance carrier. If you have any questions or concerns about your bill, please contact the TPMG Central Billing Office at (757) 232-8777. If you have any concerns about your insurance, please contact your insurance carrier directly. TPMG Colonial Family Medicine is pleased to partner with Sentara Urgent Care to provide after-hours urgent care to our patients. We realize not all medical emergencies occur within our office hours, and teaming up with Sentara Urgent Care to get you the care you need, when you need it, is our utmost priority. All of your visit notes and tests will be securely sent to our office immediately after your visit, so we may add them to your chart and your provider can make recommendations moving forward. To provide additional support between appointments, TPMG participates in Medicare’s Advanced Primary Care Management (APCM) program. TPMG Colonial Family Medicine’s No Show Policy requires that patients contact the office at least 24 business hours before their appointment if they will not be able to honor this commitment. Failure to do so will result in no-show fees, which are not covered by medical insurance.

Additionally, our New Patient Policy is strictly enforced. Patients new to TPMG Colonial Family Medicine must arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled appointment. There are no exceptions. Failure to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment will result in your appointment being rescheduled or being unable to reschedule at our office in the future. No-show fees will apply.
